Last Week Green School was honored to host Jane Goodall on campus. The event lasted from Saturday at the amazing and inspiring Plastik Tidak Fantastik Festival, until Tuesday at the touching and memorable Green School 2014 Graduation Ceremony. It was, to say the least, an eventful week, and I was lucky enough to have been part of the press team. I don;t believe I could successfully share and express how inspiring and truly beautiful this last week of school was, so instead I thought I would share some pictures from the Festival.

Filled with amazing ideas and discussions this day was unforgettable. It is heartwarming to learn about all the efforts happening around the island to preserve its environment and beauty.
Monday, June 16: Roots and Shoots Day and Fundraising Dinner
On this Day Jane Goodall got a tour around school. She also came into all the classrooms to see exactly how we do our learning at Green School. We had a special dedicated assembly to Jane Goodall and the Roots and Shoots organization. The day ended with music, dance and many smiles. Finally, there was a private fundraising dinner open to only 50 guests.
Tuesday June 17: Green School Graduation (Keynote Speaker: Jane Goodall)
This day was a hard day for everyone, not only was it an to this amazing to this four day festival, but it was also a goodbye to the class of 2014 senior graduates. The ceremony was beautiful, and unfortunately I was so engaged by it I did not get many pictures. We will miss this incredible class!
